Sue or Medusa? The Battle Continues!

The public has spoken! It's Medusa by a landslide. Are you paying attention, Marvel?! Send Sue off to Atlantis so Reed can ensconce himself in Medusa's matchless "invincible scarlet tresses."

Let's face it, Reed and Medusa have always naturally gravitated to one another. Look at this classic cover in all its versions. Everyone else is charging straight ahead, but notice how Medusa and Reed "lean" into one another. Body language doesn't lie.

Reed and Medusa's chemistry is so blindingly obvious that everyone--Ben, Johnny, Crystal, random citizens of Attilan--can't help but notice it. Well, everyone except for Black Bolt, who as usual is oblivious to what's going on right under his nose. And for even more Medusa, Inhuman and FF goodness, check out my Panelocity site!

  1. Now this is the best comic blog thread I have seen in many moons. Yes, it is time for Reed Richards to leave Susan Storm and to fall in love with Medusa!

  3. In the image with Mr. F speaking to Madame M, the comment is that Black Bolt is oblivious. Maybe he and Medusa are polyamorous and he's actually just hoping they will get it together.

Thanks for a fun look back at what might have been.

  4. Bronze Age Fan: LOL! You know, you're probably right, given the development of BB's many wives. ;)

    Thanks for the feedback!

  5. Oh, seeing it was the '70s and they were in NY, I'm SURE Reed and Medusa shared.. many things during her tenure.

I sure liked her better than Sue or Crystal.

  6. Hi David,

LOL! I really hope she turns to Reed. I just read Inhumanity and man, Black Bolt has got to be the worst king/husband/boyfriend whatever. Medusa deserves much better!

And here's to a happy and healthy 2014 for everyone!
